Am soon going to have my freshmen at the college write postcard poems. We did halloween limericks today which was a blast. Had a contest and the winner (close vote) won two spooky pencils held together with a spider ring. Even the big kids like to have fun. They also wrote some cinquains on whatever topic they wished. I haven’t seen them get so into things since the first part of the semester.
